Andy currently serves as Engineering Projects Manager, supporting students and faculty in their project work for the Collaboratory. He is the Sector Leader for the Civil and Environmental Engineering projects and works with our partners, students, and faculty from project initiation through project completion. Andy also works with all project teams on safety, compliance issues, and training sessions that may be required.
Andy joined the Engineering Department in 2015. After graduating from Messiah College, he spent more than 15 years working in renewable fuels, environmental analysis, and chemical safety. He has management experience in the manufacturing industry as well as in the laboratory and has handled a variety of areas in both settings, from production to quality control to regulatory compliance.
Andy and his wife, Hilary, live in Harrisburg and have two children – Addy and Eli. They all love spending time together outdoors, traveling, and watching movies. In addition to hobbies such as hiking and woodworking, Andy has a strong interest in the environment and being a steward of God’s creation.
