Profile
Laura holds a B.A in accounting from Messiah College, and an M.B.A. from Shippensburg University. She started her career at Ernst & Young in Baltimore, MD as an auditor, auditing clients ranging from small operations to Fortune 500 companies. During her time at EY, she worked extensively on a financial statement restatement due to fraud and the merger of two well-known companies. Prior to entering higher education as a full-time faculty, Laura was responsible for partnering with executive management and consulting on potential financial investments in Kansas City, MO. One of her most impactful work experiences was traveling to India to integrate and leverage an outsourcing platform. Laura will use these experiences in the classroom to illustrate how academic concepts are relevant in the business world.
