Dr. Klomps has worked as a Surgical Oncology CRNP at Penn State Hershey Medical Center since August 2020. She specializes in abdominal cancers--specifically liver, pancreas, stomach and foregut cancers. Her time is split between seeing her own patients in clinic and the OR, learning the surgical procedures and helping the surgeons with cases.
She teaches in the Messiah University Department of Nursing for both the undergrad and graduate programs. She also teaches in the LPN and RN programs at Harrisburg Area Community College.
D. Klomps is married, with 6 children, and the family has 3 dogs, 5 cats, and a bearded lizard (Spike). She love going to the beach and traveling, hiking, and cars/bikes. Any time not working is family focused and spent with her children.
