Profile

Dr. Richardson has worked with children and families for over 20 years.  She has been a Family Advocate, School Social Worker and Team Leader within various non-profit, social service and educational settings.  As a Team Leader for WestHELP, a homeless shelter in Westchester County, she was introduced to the world of Head Start and she worked collaboratively to ensure the youth, and their families received the services needed.  This launched her love for the field of early childhood education.  She served as the Family and Community Engagement Director, Staff Training Coordinator and a Policy Council Member for Head Start of Rockland, Inc.  Prior to her current position she served as the Teacher Education Program Director at Rockland Community College and has served on several Boards of Directors for Child Care Providers.
