Tara Savarino has performed leading roles in Cosi Fan Tutte, The Mikado, Hansel and Gretel, The Medium, Kismet, Le Petit Duc and Utopia Limited. She made her Lincoln Center debut in 2002 as the Central Park Jogger in The Children's Requiem, a new musical based on the history of youth violence in New York City. Her solo work includes Carmina Burana with the Tufts University Chorale and Orchestra and various concerts at Kings Chapel (Boston) under the direction of Daniel Pinkham. She also completed an Opera and Cultural Studies Program in Rome, Italy, where she was a member and soloist of a small chamber ensemble. She has performed with the Harrisburg Symphony and has given recitals at the State Street Academy of Music (Harrisburg) and at Messiah University (Grantham). She is a frequent soloist at Market Square church in Harrisburg. In June 2007 she made her European debut performing with her husband in Ravanusa, Sicily. She is a member of NATS and has private voice studios in Mechanicsburg and New Cumberland, PA.
