How has HDFS prepared you?
“I feel like the Human Development and Family Science program really prepared me for my job. I regularly have the opportunity to help people and practice methods of effective communication. Introduction to Interpersonal Relations, Adult Development, and Family Ethnicity and Human Services have given me skills that I regularly use in my career. Holistically, all of the classes I have taken at Messiah have helped me to improve my writing. This is very important since I regularly send professional written communication to students and staff.”
