On a daily basis I am working with college students. I oversee 4 different residence hall areas ranging from apartments to honors housing for both male and female students. I oversee 7 resident assistants and meet with them on a weekly basis. I walk alongside of students through both the good and bad times of college.

Messiah’s social work department helped me develop the people and problem solving skills that I use everyday. It is not easy to walk into difficult situations, but they helped me develop the confidence and the skills to do so. Every single day I work with people whether good or bad and the social work department taught me how to handle that well.
Yes! It is challenging and you know that you are getting a good education. The program forces you to step outside of your comfort zone and to grow.
