Nate is a partner in the Affordable Housing group at the international law firm Nixon Peabody LLP. He advises nonprofits, for-profits, and public agencies on the development, ownership and management of affordable housing developments, helping clients secure government approvals and needed financing. His expertise focuses on federal programs such as the project-based Section 8 and Housing Choice Voucher programs, the public housing program, and loan programs administered by the Federal Housing Administration and USDA Rural Development. Based in their Washington, D.C. office, Nate works with companies throughout the U.S. Before joining Nixon Peabody LLP in 2010, Nate earned a law degree and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University.
