After completing an internship and a genetics course at Messiah College, where he received the foundation to conduct DNA analysis and developed a passion for the field, Hall chose to pursue Forensic Science in graduate school. He now enjoys the opportunity to monitor new scientific advances in Forensic Science.
Hall's decision to pursue Forensic Science stemmed from his passion for the field, and he advocates that current and prospective students, "Choose a field based on something you have a passion for rather than one that might give you the extra money or fame." Pursuing what interests you the most should be the motivation behind whatever you study.
Coupled with the stellar education he received during his time at Messiah College, Hall valued the close-knit community of students and faculty that make up Messiah College, along with the national championship wins in soccer! The relationships he developed during his undergraduate remain intact, as he still maintains contact with his former roommates and close friends.
To ensure that students have the best college experience possible, Hall advises to ' talk with current and former students concerning the experiences they had, not only during classes, but also in building relationships with other students and faculty outside of the classroom.'
