She's Somebody's Daughter, a non-profit agency focusing on anti-human trafficking efforts, is presenting a simulation in which participants walk the path of a potential victim of human trafficking. Following this segment, there will be a presentation and debrief in Hollinger Lounge.
The Human Trafficking Simulation event is co-sponsored by Social Work Club and Phi Alpha Honor Society. It is presented by guest speakers from She's Somebody's Daughter, a non-profit agency that works to spread awareness about human trafficking and help victims and survivors receive necessary services. The event includes a simulation in which participants walk to and from different stations in a "choose your own adventure" style that imitates the choices a victim of human trafficking may make. Participants are encouraged to come and go during this time. Afterwards, participants will gather for a presentation by She's Somebody's Daughter and a debrief to talk about their experiences, thoughts, and feelings related to the simulation. Participants are encouraged to register through the QR code found on the poster for this segment so our guest speakers can appropriately prepare for the best mode of delivery.
