Over 300 students receive support and accommodations for a range of physical, psychological, and learning disabilities, both in the classroom and out of class. Housing accommodations are provided for many students with chronic health problems or physical limitations. Messiah University is committed, not only to the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) but to the moral and ethical responsibility to treat all members of the community impartially and justly without favoritism or discrimination. The Office of Academic Accessibility works with all academic offices and campus departments to facilitate the inclusion and full participation of students with disabilities.
