Messiah University - Graduate Program in Counseling has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 4563. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Messiah University - Graduate Program in Counseling is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) Policies
The Messiah University Graduate Counseling Program is approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to provide continuing education and abides by its policies. If you would like to submit a complaint regarding any continuing education program provided or co-sponsored by the Messiah University Graduate Counseling Program or its procedure(s) related to those programs, please contact one of the following individuals in writing providing a description of the complaint(s):
As required and within sixty (60) days, the Department will contact NBCC with a description of the complaint. Upon review and discussion of the complaint, any necessary changes will be made for the success of future programs.
Confidentiality Policy:
The Graduate Program in Counseling at Messiah University will keep the identities of participants in its continuing education programs confidential. The Counseling Program will also keep confidential any identifying information the participant provides to the Counseling Program (e-mail, address, etc). This policy does not protect disclosure by court order.
