Schrag/Peace Lectures 2017
The 2017 Schrag/Peace Lectures were delivered by , senior pastor and co-founder of and founder and president of .
Dr. Boyd delivered three lectures:
- "Towel Power: Jesus' Foot-Washing Way of Changing the World" (Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m.)
- "Revelation: Reflecting on John's Violently Anti-Violence War Scroll" (Tuesday, March 28 at 9:45 a.m.)
- "Shrinking Your Church to Discover the Kingdom: The Cost and Joy of Embracing Anabaptism" (Tuesday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m.)
The first lecture was held at (Carlisle campus), and the second and third lectures were held on the campus of Messiah College.
All lectures were free and open to the Messiah College community and the general public, and no ticket was required.

In addition to these lectures, the Institute held its annual banquet on Tuesday, March 28, at 5:00 p.m. The banquet was held in Howe Atrium, Boyer Hall.
This year's lectureship was co-sponsored by the Peace and Conflict Studies program at Messiah College, in conjunction with their annual Peace Lectures.
