  • Alex Sredenschek-
Alex Sredenschek ’19 PhD candidate in Physics at Penn State University

Studying at Messiah prepared me for the challenges of graduate school thanks to the ability to pursue a double major in mathematics and physics, the opportunity to pursue my passion for education and music, and the professors and my advisors who sought to help my peers and I realize our potential in and out of the classroom and lab.

  • Andrew Cameron-
Andrew Cameron ’17 Software Developer at Leidos

Messiah played a pivotal role in preparing me for my career; I was introduced to concepts and methodologies relevant in the industry, was provided amazing opportunities for hands-on learning and professional growth through The Collaboratory and The Impact Venture Challenge, and most importantly, I learned how to learn. I left Messiah with several languages under my belt, Python, Java, and PHP, to name a few, as well as friends, mentors, and a professional network.

  • Daniel Dietrich-
Daniel Dietrich ’19 Operations Research Analyst (ORA) for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)

Messiah’s well-rounded education also equipped me with the skills of writing, communication, and research ... all of which significantly smoothed my transition into the workforce.

  • Emily Wichert-
Emily Wichert ’19 Data Management Associate at Invicro

As a Math major with minors in Statistics and Computer Science, my courses at Messiah prepared me for developing the logic, problem solving, and attention to detail needed for learning new programming languages, coming up with unique and efficient solutions to problems, and reviewing work for accuracy in a highly regulated environment. Messiah’s emphasis on Christian education helped prepare me to view my work through a Christian lens by glorifying God in all that I do, seeing Him work in the day to day, and letting him work in me to be a light to my coworkers.
