Messiah University announces $8K-$10K scholarship for physical therapy students starting in fall 2022
Investing in a doctoral-level program can be demanding during the best of times, but with the disruption of COVID-19 overshadowing many plans, graduate students nationally have been hesitant to commit to full-time residential programs. In response, Messiah University is offering a new scholarship for all students who enroll in its full-time residential Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
“Messiah University is pleased to offer every DPT student entering the fall 2022 cohort a scholarship that is at least $8,000,” said Rob Pepper, assistant provost and dean of the School of Graduate Studies. “In addition to locked-in tuition rates, we hope that this scholarship will help with the COVID challenges that potential DPT students have been facing.”
The DPT Fall 2022 Cohort Scholarship is a non-need-based scholarship of $8,000 and will automatically be applied over the eight semesters of the program ($1,000 per semester). This scholarship aid is “stackable” and able to be combined with additional Messiah scholarship opportunities for which students may qualify. Messiah University alumni will receive an additional $250 per semester ($1,250 per semester), for a total scholarship amount of $10,000 over the full course of the program.
